David Gallop has copped his fair share of criticism of late but prior to the Gasnier & SBW saga's was there any urgency for people to know the NRL's vision for the future.
I mean things were going along nicely crowds were up slightly the game was rating well and they were celebrating its centenary year.
Since the merde hit the fan the demands for a vision for the future have been deafening.
I would think that since Gallop was once aligned with Super League his vision of the future was perhaps their blueprint for the game with merges of Sydney clubs. But how do you accomplish this when the clubs prime motivation is self interest and when the Bunnies proved in court that you can not be kicked out of the competition.
