First Grader
Wow. Did anyone see that effort last night.

They almost needed Google Earth to keep the other horses in the frame.

Super horse and that was dominant. Accelerating away from a floundering opposition is always the sign of greatness. I've been to Ascot and it is uphill the whole straight to the finishing post so it is never an easy assignment.

I'm not sure about the rating at 147, with Secretariat at 144 and Seabird II at 145. I'd probably go Secretariat on top myself and would rate the Belmont, even though there were only 4 runners, the greatest equine achievement ever. Still Frankel is undefeated and we are blessed with quality around the world. Fingers crossed for BC.

So will black caviar race against it or do they run over different distances ? 2 best horses in the world would be some match up.

It was a possibility but will not happen this year. Frankel is a one mile (1600 mts) specialist and goes to 2000 mts, whereas BC has only had one start at 1400 with all other races @ 1200 or shorter. There was talk that she may try to get the 1600 for the clash but that has been dismissed by the BC camp for now. I don't think there will ever be a meeting between these two.

This is a classic spray. McCririck has been around forever and is to British Racing what Phil Gould is to RL here, but with a touch of Dame Edna thrown in! Poms will just be Poms. After a lifetime of getting spanked they are a bit bitter.

Will meet up with So You Think who also will line up in the 2000m Coral Eclipse. Then the aust public will appreciate how good Frankel is.

I actually think that SYT after being finally trained correctly by the Irishman will test Frankel.

I did say test, not beat!

They almost ruined one of the great gallopers, from crap jockeys to training methods. Looks to be coming back to his best. Test is probably the right word Clon.

He should never have been transferred/allowed to leave Australia. Probably has another Cox Plate and at least $2-3m in prizemoney against his name if he stays.

Im not sure how much he has won overseas but doubt it would be that much.

I always thought that Kingston Town would be the greatest horse that I would ever see.He could beat the best sprinters in the land fresh then beat the best middle distance horses later in his preparation. However after seeing Frankel win his last 3 races ever so impressively I have come to the opinion that he could easily be the best horse ever to race.Soon his career will be over and I look forward to seeing all the little Frankels running around the world.

He is very special mbe. I'm lucky to have seen the King race but he did it at every distance including a 2 mile thrashing in the Sydney Cup and a close second in the Melbourne Cup (and he was never really comfortable anti-clockwise). Frankel's owners can do what they like and the Prix de l'Arc is over 2400 but I would be disappointed if he didn't attempt it. Like the Cox Plate here it is the ultimate continent test. A win by even 1 length in that would cement his place forever.

Just before Kingston Town had his first start I could have bought a share in Bletchingly (Kingston Town's sire) but my family was not a racing family and didnt see the value in owning shares in stallions.Kingston Town will always be my favourite horse .Other horses may be better but to me he is the best. His acceleration from the 300metres to the 150 metres was blinding.
