Keppie should be back but will Olakau’atu have an issue with the high shot

Oh yeah crap, forgot about that.

Amazed it was a sin bin so hopefully just a fine.

Big plus if we can have Keppie on board though his form this year is a little down

Des said Shu won't be ready next week

Alec Tuitivake is a big beast who I reckon may take time to get to the speed of NRL, but would prove an X factor player who will dent any defence
Problem this next game is Rabbits and you want more mobility to control the quicks like Cook and Murray in the middle, maybe not the ideal time.
Shu is 2 weeks off
I don't think the Okalatu tackle should have been on report or a bin, he'll be there
Marty is back - likely
Keppie - 95%
Davey unless scans show worse will make it
bullemore, Lawton, Ben T and De luis "if needed" will make up the pack
Will be a competitive side and long as they have a dig like that second half I'm happy enough
To be fair, the Manly pack has done ok recently and their tempo in attack has gone up 2 levels and at most times are controlling the play balls better also defensively, though the first half against Sharks was a few times they didn't help that poor right edge by allowing touch footy plays and an easy, unopposed shift.
If you watch the 2nd half, apart from the obvious wih Koula "Getting up" rather than retreating, the inside also slid far better and controlled the lead up better also.
I feel Souths will attack the same side and the biggest concern, is the damage created by Cook and Murray thru the guts to loosen the defence up.

Des will pick Harper again and put Koula in 14.

With Ola maybe out, Burbo might get a run.

Was very impressed with Bullemor last night. Des left him out to dry by playing him out of position on the edge to start the season against 2 top sides, and then dropped him while other underperforming players kept their spots, but was good to finally see what he could offer in the middle.

Unfortunately Schuster still won't be back as we've mishandled his return, so I'd expect the pack to look something like this:

Sipley
Croker
Taupau
Olakau'atu
Lawton
J Trbojevic

B Trbojevic
Bullemor
Keppie
De Luis

If Haumole is out (he shouldn't be but the anti-Manly bias might come into play) then start Burbo and play literally anyone we have left except Harper.

Fox commentators said it was just like Junior Paulo's hit and he got a week.

Don't forget this is Manly not the Roosters or Penrith who are teflon coated.

Tuitavake injured right?
Wouldn "t mind Tuitavake getting a run if the prop or forward stocks are down a bit . Certainly did not look out of place in a trial game and plenty of aggression and power running . , not as a starting prop but bench option Looks like Burbo will be a likely inclusion if Walker and Davey are out though , could prove a useful addition too with his mobility and should be able to hold his own defensively .

Recovery from Covid is very much an unknown, some are fine, others not. Same deal with concussion, so Marty and Keppie are no certainties. Haumole is facing suspension.

Walker and Paseka definitley out and probably Davey. Schu is not yet ready according to Des, and Aloiai and Boyle out too, and maybe Tuitavake.

Which leaves...

Toff
Croker
DeLuis
Lawton
Burbo
Jake
Bench: Bully, Roumanos, Fifita... Weekes? Humphreys? Sykes? Chan Kum Tong????
Unfortunately Schuster still won't be back as we've mishandled his return,
In what way?
