I’ve come across an ‘insurance policy’ for spinal injury.
PBF is not an insurance company, but a charity that pays its members a member benefit of $100,000 at the time of accident and diagnosis, should a member a incur a spinal injury resulting in paraplegia or quadriplegia. We would all hope that nothing like this would happen to us, but you never know.
A policy for a family costs $50 per annum which is a very small price to pay when you think about it.
The web-site is: http://www.pbf.asn.au/asp/index.asp
Application forms can be found at: http://www.pbf.asn.au/asp/index.asp?sid=5&page=join_pbf&cid=76&gid=5
