We've been told there is no way Manly could fly under the radar next year, unless something drastic and unexpected happened......like our coach and support staff perhaps leaving the following season.

Perhaps Des has already let the players know that he is staying long term and is just foxing the media and Greenberg.
Like Bennett and the Roosters deal, he has a clause that if they reveal his departure, he can get out of the contract, so he'll just wait till later in the year, quietly winning games under the radar, before coming clean and announcing he is really staying long term!
That's why management has been silent about this. Am I hoping too much? 😉
