Agree. Got to say players like Granville, Lowe turn up in defence everywhere. They just showed how much experience counts. manly such a young side, Cows are hardened finalists and just went up another level. Gave parra nothing. Ruthless

The longest drought in the premiership continues for another year at least. The next best thing to a Manly win is a Parra loss. Even sweeter when its a final, just as their bogan horde of supporters begin to dream and almost believe it's possible. Not this year, losers.

The Bogan hordes will be boarding the Bogan Bullets at Olympic Park Station, returning to Bogantown.

That empty handed feeling now into its fourth decade.

Lowe was great tonight. All the Cowboys forwards were.
Two guys who have played really well for them all year and don't get the plaudits some of the others do: Scott Bolton, who has had by far and away his best year in the NRL, and Shaun Fensom - always rated him at the Raiders and was kinda hoping he might end up here when Ricky cut him loose. He's been a great pickup for them.

Officially it was 14,865. But I agree, they would have been lucky if there was 10,000 at Spotless. Its the lowest finals attendance since only 9,690 turned up to see Fitzroy (now Brisbane) defeat Collingwood at the MCG on 12 August 1916.

Experience is massive. Parra looked way too predictable in attack while the Cowboys just sliced and diced them.
