I always quite liked the boxing kangaroo as an emblem, although of course it may represent cruelty to animals. As for Manly emblems, I don't mind the old ones I've seen pictures of from the early years, such as when Rex Mossop played. Just a giant eagle, not a bad emblem.

Yeah the one on the 87 Jersey (I have one of those from that very day) is my fav...although the modern version is more "trendy"

I wonder why some of the designers drop the hyphen between Manly and Warringah and with other emblems they put it in?
But back to the topic, I'm a great fan of the US style baseball caps where you see a simple yet elegant NY or SF, etc. If we had a cap with simple and strong large initials of MW, I think this could last through the ages... until it wears out and then I'd buy a new one.

Funny you say that I went into the factory outlet store yesterday and Manly has 39Thirty New Era caps in that style. It is a Large M with a small w instiode it and a line wing design underneath, with Sea Eagles on the back. There is a couple of styles one centred, one with a small symbol to one side and one with the club logo instead of the MW, they look pretty good. I bought one

I found a pic of the 59Fifty, I bought the 39thirty (traditional bent peak and flexfit not fitted cap with straight peak). Here is the Baseball style emblem, these must be official Manly merch cause they are being sold in the factory outlet store
