Fans vote for daytime grand final

A DAILY Telegraph survey shows nearly 75 per cent of National Rugby League fans want the season decider played in daytime.

The poll, which attracted a record 7000 respondents, showed rugby league's lifeblood - the supporters - want the grand final to kick-off at the traditional 3pm on Sunday afternoon.

And the fan's demands for an earlier kickoff were last night supported by some former rugby league legends.

We need our game to run by people who make decisions based on what is best for football rather than what is best for a TV company!!!

I don't like it either, but am not naiive enough to think a heap of fans bleating will change anything. If that was possible Souths wouldnt have needed to go to court to get back in to the comp.
