Sunday November 24 - $20 for Charity
Shelly Beach, the end of East Esplanade Manly Beach

There is nothing quite like a nice long walk along the beach to start a Sunday morning.
But when you’re also raising funds towards brain cancer research while walking alongside some of your favourite Sea Eagles stars, it makes it just that little bit more special.
This Sunday the 24th of November, the always enjoyable 5km Beach Walk for Brain Cancer will be on again running along the scenic boardwalk from Shelly Beach to South Curl Curl.
Established in 2011 by Bec Lucas, four months after losing her father to brain cancer, the walk aims to further brain cancer research and finding a cure.
“For me, the support from the community has been overwhelming,” Bec said. “So many people have got behind the event.
“Manly is such a beautiful part of the world, so we have lots of people coming down to spend a nice day out at the beach."
Join Sea Eagles stars Jamie Lyon, Peta Hiku and Michael Chee-Kam as they walk with you in the annual beach walk.
"The Sea Eagles getting on board is fantastic. Our supporters love seeing the players down there and it definitely helps us create a buzz in the lead up and also on the day," Bec said.
Our boys will join members from the NSW Waratahs, NOVA 969 Casanovas, Dr Charlie Teo and event founder Bec Lucas on what will be special day along Sydney’s best beachfront.
Register online to receive a link to your individual or team fundraising page and we encourage you to ask all your friends, family and colleagues to help sponsor as all funds raised are going straight to brain cancer research.
Following the walk, there will be a big beach BBQ at South Curl Curl with food, drinks, snow cones, live music and more.
