Tigers eye new digs

IN what would be a major boost for the Wests Tigers, NRL boss David Gallop is lobbying the Federal and State governments for a new 40,000-seat stadium at Campbelltown. As part of soccer's bid for the 2022 World Cup, the rectangular venue has been earmarked for Blacktown. We're told Gallop has made serious progress with K Rudd and K Keneally to have the stadium built in Campbelltown instead.

The problem we have is that Brookvale is owned by the council.  Gallop is trying his hardest for a Federal Sports job so is brown-nosing Rudd for all it's worth.

Can hardly blame him for trying to get a stadium being built for soccer to have possible use for the nrl.

It does however beg the question, has Gallop done any lobbying about Brookvale?  I suspect he has been mute.

Well done to Gallop I say, he is doing what is best for League, as long as he is in the supporting the Eagles as suggested by Matabele I can see reason for ani vitriole.
