After watching the video of the crash I reckon it is London-to-a-pebble that Mam was on his phone and lost attention... the drugs wefe apparently trace rather than stupifying so something had to be distracting him...

The whole thing is an absolute farce and Ezra is a protected species imo...

The more disturbing aspect for mine was the almost non existent "sentence" handed down by the local Magistrate. This guy is supposed to reflect community values. Instead it wreaks of reverse racism..

Something is really amiss here, fine in Qld for not wearing a seatbelt $1209, Ezra fine a poultry $850 !!..NRL said they will be guided by the sentence imposed by the judge on Mam. So a bigger fine would of been a much heavier suspension than the 9 wks i would assume...mmm...

The sanction is ridiculous. The NRL bottled cause hell know we cant upset the donkeys and he should seriously buy a lottery ticket as his sanction belies the seriousness of what he chose to do that day!

Noted last week that one of the new Q L D government 's more senior polies was considering lodging an appeal against the sentence but looks like that has gone or maybe has gone nowhere .
Extent of the fine looks almost farcical let alone some of the other penalties to date imposed , so not sure what is going on there .
Will be very fortunate for him and the Broncs if this is the actual or final punishment outcome for him.

I just wish we left the courts to punish and stayed away from playing in areas sporting administrators have to place being. Maybe then the the unfairness would stop driving us to whine about offences that occur every day around us but the sheer shock that they plays footy for TEAM other fluckas makes people gasp for air

Sentences are meant to align with community expectations and of course that’s difficult to measure objectively…however, in instances where one perceives they haven’t, we are actually encouraged to write to local members, start campaigns or contact the Office of Public Prosecutions. This correspondence is necessary for the system to better meet public expectations.

I can’t be certain, but it seem this Mam sentence has not met community expectations…
