It is interesting to read around the various expert opinions in the papers and footy guides as to who will make up the Top this season.

It seems the Sea Eagles are tipped by about half to make the semis - most in seventh or eighth position though some such as Phil Gould mark us down as being fourth.

It is accurate to say though that noone really rates us as a genuine premiership threat.

Ricky Stuart was quoted as saying that Manly have bought well to cover our weak spots (half and centre!!!)

Major concerns seem to be about our Prop depth and lack of a five-eighth though Stuart reckons this can be overcome.

those that have us outside the 8 have us in 9th or 10th most of the time.

as an average id say most expect us to finish 7th.

We are a bit of an unknown with orford and bell coming in and only hecks being a real loss.

Does anyone actually take predictions on our side seriously? I find there to be more tendancy to tip us badly through hate than to really give an honest opinion.
