I had a look at the top teams forward packs to see how balanced they are and we definitely need something more in in the back row to balance out the side. Roosters and Melbourne and Penrith have size, mobility and skill. You could also argue some of the aggressive back rowers in sharks are starting to make a name for them selves as well. Its no coincidence the teams outside the 8 have the worst packs.

Have a look at this pack and they can still afford to rest Siosiua Taukeiaho and also have Victor Radley out for season. that to go with the best back 5 in the comp and Keary.
8. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves 9. Jake Friend 10. Lindsay Collins 11. Boyd Cordner 12. Sitili Tupouniua 13. Isaac Liu 14. Freddy Lussick 15. Angus Crichton 16. Nat Butcher 17. Sonny Bill Williams
That’s coz they are cheats!

Davey probably on the minimum ( what’s that these days $110k) and probably no worse than Duck but cheaper.

Think we are unloading for a major signing , it’s just got that feel to it.
Has that feel, agree @Mark from Brisbane . Only players I really would want on major signing coin would be Tavaga, Staggs or Smith from the clubs we've been linked with.

Garner, Davey etc. would be good signings but with Thommo, Elliott, Levi (now apparently?), Waddell leaving (not to mention AFB)... we should be able to sign them.

With AFB 850k out of the salary that was planned for next year, surely a marquee signing is on its way.

Also looks like Dylan might be staying... news on him leaving has gone quiet. If so, no need to go for any more centres... Hooker & 2Row are the priorities.
