If you read the interview with Hindmarsh from the 2001 Eels side, you’ll understand the difference that playing as an edge forward or as a centre forward makes to the attacking game for a player.

That’s why I think Jake has gone quiet in attack, as he is doing so much defence in the middle and while he is a ‘link’ in attack, with his passing game, as Hindmarsh said, you just eventually lack the energy to attack if you are defending in the middle.

The game day thread is its' natural environment.I love the game day thread,I never post but I sometimes watch because it is the most "Kennel-like" thread we have and is hilarious....
I am glad we have all types of opinions,it makes it more interesting.

Fantastic signing for us. Bullemore has the potential to add another dimension to our pack for 2022 and beyond. I'm pretty excited about the upside with Bully, and can't wait to see him in Manly colors. He hasn't signed with us to compete for a bench spot though. He has definitely been guaranteed a spot in the seventeen. Who misses out? Is he a middle for us? Does he play on the edge? I think he could also be a very good chance of starting for us. Personally, I would love to see him start on an edge, but can also see him providing real impact as a middle off the bench. Great signing by Des. Let's see who is next on the agenda.
