We get stories about dce and his circus....

Parra gets this story...

The Parramatta Eels today officially opened the $70m Parramatta Eels Centre of Excellence (COE) and Kellyville Memorial Park Community Centre, the largest rugby league training precinct in the world, marking a transformative milestone for the Club and the broader Western Sydney community.

Funded by the NSW and Australian Government, The Hills Shire Council and Parramatta Leagues Club, the precinct features five full-sized rugby league fields and is the first gender-equal elite facility in Australia with all training facilities replicated for men and women across NRL, NRLW and Elite Pathways programs.
They deserve it, they have rocketed up the ladder and now sit smugly at 2nd last (albeit only by 1 bare point of for and against: -99 to - 100 !!!!)

Until we miss the 8 by 2pts

We actually don’t have a great record at commbank 8/24, so getting one over the Riff there was good.

I’m sure the Slime will be motivated and they are playing better footy, we just need to make sure we don’t turn up with the wrong attitude thinking this one will be 2 points in the bank, I’ll be happy if we grind out a win or even earn it the hard way, couldn’t care less about the score, it’s a pretty important game table wise.
Dog's fan's seen to be nodding furiously.

Yes feathered friend
Lomax and Moses got picked and the Eels will get licked
How sweet it is !
This shows the unfairness of the Origin system. The eels lose two of their best players while Manly lose only one. The comp needs to be suspended while origin takes place and extra rounds played at the end of the season.

One origin
Winner takes all

If you check our draw over the next 6 weeks we don't play a game with any team that are above us on the table as it stands today. Plus we have a bye in Round 16. Barring an outrageous loss of form or injuries we should do well during this period. It's highly possible that we collect all 14 points. Wouldn't that be nice .
Highly possible is not a phrase I would use. Possible sure but not likely. There are many obstacles to jump before we reach the magical ranking 1 - 4 and some of those teams below us are showing definite improvement such as the Dolphins last night. This is a very tight competition and we can't get ahead of ourselves.

All true. I was reacting another poster who seemed very pessimistic about our immediate ability to win games. I should have known better that to be positive around here.

Highly possible? Highly improbable.

This team has never won more than 3 games in a row under Seibold, and the last time we got a 3rd win in a row was July last year! The only other time even this happened under Seibold was the final 3 rounds of 2023 when the season was already gone.

This team have proven that after back-to-back wins, they consistently and reliably fail to maintain mentally
