Firstly, I have no idea who is leaving but given the completely strange 6 weeks we've just been through I wouldn't be surprised if several players either retire or sign elsewhere effective immediately:
- Best wishes to those leaving. We fans think you'll regret it, but farewell.
- Some may have asked for a release and not been granted one - we fans hope you can find it within yourself to dig deep for Manly in 2015, you're here because the team needs you.
-To those who considered leaving and stayed, bravo; you've encouraged us fans by staying and have made a stand.
- To those players who have remained firm through the questions and unrest, we salute you and look forward to supporting you in the Manly colours for many more matches.
To put it into perspective here's an article from 10 years ago. I much prefer Manly's brand of dynasty.

Six Bulldogs star players have made a pact to stay with the club if they beat the Sydney Roosters in tomorrow night's National Rugby League grand final.
Second-rower Willie Mason has revealed that he and five-eighth Braith Anasta, utility Sonny Bill Williams, second-rower Andrew Ryan, centres Willie Tonga and Jamaal Lolesi met this week and pledged to try to create "a dynasty".
