Dylan Walker Injury

Just said on talkin sport he's got 6 weeks in a moon boot then rehab.

According to my bronco mate its the same injury as Yow Yeh , yeh ?
See Batty's post, he is on the mark...it's sounding like good news with the moon boot for 6 weeks. A broken fibula is nowhere near as bad as a compound fracture, which was Yow Yeh's injury. The complications of a compound fracture are much worse than you think because all the tissue that protects the bone is ripped and exposed. It's nasty. Also Yow Yeh broke the tibia as well (the larger bone in ones leg) and pretty much the bottom part of his leg was cut in half...horrific injury.

Typical bronco supporter Wanker getting me going . Yer i didnt know Yow Yeh had a compound fracture . Walks should be ok then .

I only have two words

**** and ****.

We didn’t need this did we?
Parker will miss the beginning of the season as well recovering from his Injury and it is obvious we don't have the quality depth in the centres and I can see why you would be lost for words .

The medication is we need more quality and speed depth in our backline .

Oh, it was a joke, thought you being a clown about it. I get a bit confused on this site because so many of the members are just so serious and it to tell! 😉 You could have been a Lewis Brown fan / stalker!

I am a clown 🙂. A clown dressed in marron and white . I am no expert but just a passionate fan that says it how I see it and from my eyes I cant see any quality depth from the centres that we have left now that we have Walker and parker out injured .
Unless we get more quality signing we wont be on a level par with the big guns next season .

Exactly how many centres do you think 'the big guns' carry in their squads?
Every club would be a bit weaker without their No.1 and No.3 centres.

Kelly and Matthew Wright to begin the year would hardly be a disaster. Wright is tough and experienced, and probably better suited to centre than wing.

All the gun sides have two star centres and we only have one in Walker which puts us straight in the back foot when one has an injury . That's the way I see it feathered friend .

Really? Storm have Chambers plus a first year rookie. Or did you mean Cheyse Blair is their other star centre...
Cows have O'Neil and Linnett. Linnett is a top player but would you call him a star centre... Really?
Broncos have your hero plus Moga. Moga had a very good season but again, is he a star centre?
Chooks have used Aubusson and Matterson as centres, wow 2 star centres!

Storms first year Rookie is a star because he is playing consistently like one
The proven Linett who won a grand final is very under rated and a star consistent player as compared to the inconsistent rookie and back up centres that we have .
Moga at the Brocos is another player I consider a star and that is why the Knights have made him a big offer to sway him away from the Broncos .
The roosters with Latrell Mitchell Watson and Matterson have quality and speed .
That's the way I honestly see it with my maroon and white eyes that are used to seeing quality and consistent premiership wining performers like Matai and Lyon , Hill and Inness , Occonor and Williams , Knight and Gartner , Fulton and Branighan .
Now we have Walker and I am waiting for the next competent centre partner to arrive .

For those who have Walkers Instagram, there is a photo after his op, and it seems all went ok!

"From Dylan's instagram. He seems to be in real good spirits as tom and jake were wheeling him out of the hospital. Hopefully his high spirits means the news is good"

Can someone post the pic?

Sorry, I think it was on Manly Sea Eagles FB page, had a photo with the word "success", and Dylan thumbs up, so no complications for the moment at least. We definitely need his recovery to go smooth, feeling better about this already...

It is on "The MANLY SEA-EAGLES FOR LIFE Club" Facebook page, I'm on my phone, can't post the link, sorry, but it looks encouraging...
