ANDREW JOHNS has been linked with the Sea Eagles as a halves coach to help keep Kieran Foran at the club - if it happens that will make clear Geoff Toovey runs the show. This column recently revealed Johns had been asking Anthony Watmough to get on the drink with him. Watmough refused, to his credit. A prominent Manly official told me they had put a ban on their players socialising with Johns. He also said Johns was not welcome at the club. It's amazing what a few weeks of decent behaviour can do to a person's career.

Despite what Weidler said, this point's interesting. Apparently Keiran still hasn't re-signed because of one 'sticking point'. Maybe this is it....he wants Johns and Manly don't.
