Hoping it's just one of those games when they all had a bad performance. Nothing much positive to take from it. A massive improvement is needed for next week to be even in the frame against Penrith
The only thing we can hope for is that if this has to happen it’s once only , and it’s now over and done with.

But I’m not confident that’s the case.

Nathan Brown comes on and starts sideways ball playing. WTF is that sh*t !!! His job should've been hitup hard and quick play the balls. Was this the tactics from the coach. Surely he didn't decide to do this on his own. Absolute garbage tactics that didn't change all game.

I’m placing the blame on Seibs personally. It’s pretty clear that our tactics compel the players to approach games with finesse instead of aggression. I don’t care how fast your edges are or how creative a spine is, if you don’t muscle up and win the middle, forget it.

There’s enough natural talent in our squad to score points when the opposition is stretched but even the best set play will count for nothing when the opposition are on top. Beat them in the middle and the points will come. Our tactic is to not even try and win the middle and just shift the ball and hope for space.
^^This.
Seibold just showed in 1 game why he is dogsh*t average as a tactical coach.

They are overdue for a let down and we improve massively on todays effort is our only chance.

The only problem being that the ressies were just as atrocious. We have no competent players left to field a team based on those performances today.
.
Doesn't matter. It's not about winning the next game. It's about making a statement to the relevant players (u know who u are), that it's not just a cushy 1st grade grift, it's an honour to play for the club, and u must put in 1st grd effort every week. Stop believing your own publicity - this will instill some discipline and the relevant players will be better for it and forced to reflect on how they got their reputations in the first place. 56 yrs of supporting and this crankiest i've ever been.
Players who can keep their spots : Koula, maybe Garrick, Olakoatu. Maybe Brooks.

It might take another month of matches before Tom Trbojevic makes so many errors. Let alone produce five in one game again.
The Sea Eagles superstar looked destined for a trademark game after laying on the opening try by overpowering the Dragons defenders before off-loading for Tolutau Koula to score.

The joy lasted all of four minutes for the Sea Eagles and in particular Trbojevic.

His next 76 minutes were a horror show with four unforced errors. There were simple split passes and a forward pass thrown. The official error count was five but the one where he dropped a contested attacking bomb is easily forgiven.

The rest though were so uncharacteristic given the standard he has set in his career. He was also caught out of position for a Tyrell Sloan try after being deceived by a Ben Hunt kick. Hunt looked like he was going to the short side before booting the ball in-field for Sloan to score with Trbojevic out of the picture.

At least Trbojevic – who tried hard to spark his side – came through the game unscathed so he will regroup in time to take on the Panthers on Saturday – and you would suggest he won’t be as poor again this year.

Trbojevic was not alone though. Daly Cherry-Evans threw a pass over the sideline. Lachlan Croker’s service out of dummy half was poor and Ben Trbojevic was another with a regulation fumble.

After a scintillating start to the season – particularly with the football – the Sea Eagles crashed back to reality. The Dragons defence deserve enormous credit after capitulating in back to back games. They scrambled well and suffocated a Sea Eagles attacking unit.

A repeat performance against Penrith could make for a long afternoon for the Sea Eagles. After back to back wins against the Rabbitohs and Roosters the Sea Eagles now face the reality of dropping three consecutive games after back to back losses to Parramatta and the Dragons.

What a ****e game. If there is depth time to start dropping some blokes regardless of their pay packet. Tom time to wake up to your self. The Manly Way - WOW... Seibs needs to also look in the mirror.

We were abysmal, atrocious, awful and for no good reason. If it was wet, that could've been an excuse for the poor handling. We should've been able to take advantage of the Dragons poor attack. That bogey ground strikes again. Feel sorry for all those Manly fans who made the trek.

We may as well forfeit next week's game. If we play like that, we'll be annihilated.

We won’t , it’s the way they roll , up for the big games , casual for the bottom sides.

Yep, they should repeat after me the golden rule "don't take your eyes off the ball".
