The Mitusbishi Electric Bulldogs have held a recovery session this morning.
Bulldogs cub doctor Hugh Hazard commented, "Both Willie Tonga and Roy Asotasi have sustained medial ligament damage (knee). They will have MRI scans on Monday, with results of those scans known on Tuesday.
"Both players will then consult with a specialist to determine what further action is required."
Nate Myles and Dallas McIlwain also sustained injuries during the game against the Broncos last night.
Dr Hazard commented, "Dallas has injured his AC joint (shoulder) and will probably be out for one week. Nate took a knock to his leg and we will monitor his progress during the week, but at this stage it doesn't look serious."
Evidently the club is watching SBW as he is only 40/60 at this stage...... he had a scan on his heart but it came up negative..... we can sit back and wait to see if he wants to play.
As the competition ladder is as it is, the Bulldogs are tempted not to play any player with an "injury" cloud. All I can say, rest as many as you want.......
