Mary has been almost sacked how many times?

The dragons are playing great footy at the moment and yes it may all implode later in the season but it does say something about giving the boss time to build a team.

Does this show that time is the key to getting it right and will they give TB that time?

There has been some really good positives amongst some real poor performances.

Do we stick or flip?

Only flip if there is something better on the table.. I think Baz is very much liked by the players. Not sure they respect him though, which is a problem. Would have loved Des to come in for Bozo and mentored Baz whilst letting Baz coach the team.

I would only give him until the end of the season but also you need someone more experienced available to take over. Manly should have did anything to get Hasler for next year but not going to happen now...

There are so many variables in the game these days that separate the winners from the losers...too many variables to comprehensively lay blame at the foot of the coach.

I think the Eels and the Tigers have shown what a revolving door of coaches can do to a club and it's culture. The Sharks also languished down the bottom of the ladder for years under Flanagan and at one stage it look like the only option was rid the club of the man that oversaw a controversial supplements program, only to win a competition under him a couple of years later.

Patience is the key and unless we are absolutely turning it up and battling for the spoon, I think we are better off letting Barrett stay until something very obviously superior pops up.

Only if there is improvement year on year. At this stage I don't see enough to justify keeping Barrett. There are better coaches out there surely.

Serious???
The experiment has failed. He's had 2 full pre seasons and we've gone nowhere. 1 from 5 home games. Now we go into 4 away games and we'll be lucky to win any. We're becoming the perennial loser club. The team that the top 12 pencil in for 2 points. Not feared, not thought of as a threat. Is this what supporters have become satisfied with because I'm not.

Also some of his decision have been a little disturbing, dce as Captain, myles being rested, brown still in the TEAM.

I find it amusing that the entire supporter base hates Myles, calls for him to be dropped, sacked, driving to Blacktown, etc....then there is complaints against the coach when he doesnt pick him, cause the media excuse is "rested"....we are a hard bunch to please at times.

The dragons nearly got beaten by a cowboys side missing Coote, Thurston, Scott, O'Neil, Granville and more so no I don't think they hold the key

True although we have been impressed with him of late, thus the reason we were disappointed to lose him (also due to Marty missing out). Lewis Brown is the one we want gone and I for one will be happy as all hell to never have him back.

Dragons have had a pretty handy run so far. a couple of strong wins granted. but generally played the **** teams. They will come unstuck. As for Baz I don't think there is any point sacking the bloke with no high profile coaches available. just get used to St George style rollercoaster of mediocrity.

We are unbeaten away this year, 4 from 4 here we come!!!

I see where your at re playing top sides but that side looks pretty handy. power, pace and Widdop playing career best footy.
Lets see across the season but i really feel they could be a dark horse come finals time.
Just shows these days that unless a coach has immediate success its off with their heads.
