We all know that Souths use the "Glory, Glory to South Sydney" song after a victory. Sharks use the "Up,Up Cronulla" and we use to have the Manly song sung to Waltzing Matilda my question is why we don't use it anymore?

Now don't get me wrong I love "Eagle Rock" and the words are well known by most people.

I guess we don't use it Ant because it sucks. Love Eagle Rock because of the history and it still sounds good. The words to the old song are up in the Songs & Chants section under Articles. Terrible lyrics but if you want to sing them you are welcome :)

What was that song we had in the early 90s I think???  Maybe sung by Doug Parkinson????

Some of the lyrics went like

Sea Eagles fight for every minute
    Tougher than all the rest
    Sea Eagles blah blah blah
    We'll always beat the best

    Manly Warringah
    The Soaring Sea Eagles
    Manly Warringah
    The Soaring High
    The Soaring Sea Eagles

From memory it came in a supports pack in either late 80s or early 90s.
