One wing spot and the five-eighth berth are the only positions causing headaches for coach Des Hasler ahead of next Saturday's season opener against Canberra at Brookvale Oval.

New signing Michael Robertson and Paul Stephenson are vying for a berth on the wing while Michael Monaghan and Travis Burns are locked in a battle for the No 6 jersey.

Monaghan may have edged in front of Burns following a solid performance in the trial win over the Tigers last weekend.

``I'm still working through a few things but the team is pretty much settled,'' Hasler said.

``There won't be too many surprises.''
