Des Hasler IS improving

Ryan

Journey Man
At the end of last year Des Hasler had a 37.5% winning rate for his career.
At the end of this year Des Hasler has a 40.8% winning rate for his career.

Other coaches winning ratio AT THE START of 2005 was:-

Wayne Bennett ----- 65.5%
Steve Folks --------- 63.3%
Matthew Elliott ------ 48.7%
Stuart Raper -------- 41.7%
Craig Bellamy ------- 57.7%
Tony Kemp ---------- 23.1%
Michael Hagan ------ 57.7%
Graham Murray ----- 50.0%
Brian Smith --------- 52.1%
John Lang ---------- 59.3%
Nathan Brown ------- 51.0%
Shaun McRae ------- 61.1%
Ricky Stuart --------- 72.0%
Tim Sheens --------- 50.2%

Tony Kemp has been sacked of coarse.

Next year will be the big test for Hasler.

If Manly don't improve next year then I would say he is a fair chance to do a Kemp. In saying that i expect manly to be a top 6 side next year provided that we can sign up a lot more promising young players for our PL side and have a couple who will press for a 1st grade spot later next year.

At the moment we don't have really many PL players who are putting pressure on the first grade team. Hence 1st grade can play like dogs and still be picked the next game because there is no-one to replace them.

Manly need to spend money and sign up promising young players for all areas. There surely must be some on the central coast/Norths/Penrith etc.

Tookey - someone here tried to notify Peters about two promising up and coming players. He never returned phone calls, and the two players were snapped up on contracts to The Roosters by Arthur Beatson...

That's why we lack in premier league dude.

In my opinion, it's mis management.

I am no expert on the inner workings of the club but from the outside people like Peters and Saunders don't gve the impression that they add value to the club.

They should be replaced with more dynamic people who are going to attract good players and sponsors to the club.
