I agree Perry could use some time in the Qld cup. He is consistently not performing, even with our last 2 wins, he didn't really impress. As for the others, I don't feel they are playing that bad. For us to be consistent it's a matter of our big guns needing to step up another gear.

We've replaced premiership winning forwards with hacks, has beens and nevilles.

On top of that, as I've documented, and worst of all, is that the ones who are left like Perry in particular have put the queue in the rack.

Forwards win matches (and premierships).

It's that simple. Stats don't lie and the table doesn't lie.

The really crushing thing about all of this is that this years comp is far more average than past years.

Look at the matches we blew:
Tigers rd 1 after leading 20-4
Eels rd 2 after leading 20-0
Titans at home after leading by 10 with 8 mins to go
Eels at home after lacklustre Mon night effort
Canberra at home by 2 after totally inept woeful display
And of course the worst of them all last Mon nights capitulation at Newc.

Even if we only won 3 of those 7 matches we would be booking our home semi seats. God that's frustrating.
