Play a negative, borefest of (wow) - no errors.
Lead by 6 and shoot for goal with them on the ropes...ok...maybe a call either way....though was always a game of scoring tries to break the spirit.
Get behind by 26 points and decide to Play Footy!!
Instead of all this structure decide to play footy...suddenly look dangerous.
Cut them up playing direct yet instinctive footy, so the players are there right ?
Not only a bad spectacle with the general game play, gave themselves no chance against a team who needs to be KO’d or will keep coming all day.
Please play footy for the 80 next week...

Played crap, I know it- you know it.
Thing is they played better with nothing to lose....before that looked uptight like....well I don’t wanna go there....and not pretending it was some game breaking amazing improved effort....simply better than that 1 out under 11’s stuff earlier.

I know that mate, but seriously, most teams play like that when they have nothing to lose and are on the end of a hiding. Truth is they play scared, there is no direction and very little game plan (that I can see)

To a degree - the old nothing to lose....
But it was a little more calculated in the sense players actually started getting themselves in motion in support....a thing I have not witnessed recently?
Maybe we need to go out first half with the mentality they are down by 16, because this safety first play with only 3 errors stuff is way off the mark.

I still think they got comfortable, didn’t pressure our attack as much and started producing handling errors that lead to turn overs etc. it was 28-8 at 62’

Sure we may have been a bit better but we were well beaten before anything changed. The Cowboys game our kicking game was abysmal and seriously it was as bad if not worse this week... considering the experienced halves we had and the go fwd our fwds were providing it was very very poor tactics and execution.

No doubt in the world they slackened off....I get that without a doubt.
Thing I noticed in attack, players actually started making effort to support the ball and dig into space around the ball carrier, which was not evident earlier.
Manly completed at almost 100% yet scored only 1 try in 60 minutes by playing safe footy and looked very stiff which was reflected with the kicking options.
