DCE has loved the defence. It's been said a lot but he always tries hard regardless of how well or poorly he plays. Making tackles is one way that he shows he cares.

How does he lessen that defensive work exactly ??? Do you employ the Bryce Cartwright tackling technique or do you go and hide behind the goalpost pads ??

Just be thankful that he can actually tackle. One of the better defensive halves in the Comp and has never needed a minder. All teams run traffic at the halves - it’s the way to either tire them out, injure them or capitalise on their defensive weakness.
