Stability considerations just isn"t cutting it and just such an ongoing defensive handicap on the right edge defence . Put Parker there as a starting back rower , Cust has the capacity to put the opposition ruck defence in two minds , start him as the 9 . Walker to centre for this weeks as well . Harper did well enough at one in the trials , give him a go at full back nothing against funa 's ability and attitude , Harper just seems the better option until Tom is back on deck again

My thought was that he'd drop Saab (likely) for Parker. That may be the change. Don't think he'd drop him into the backrow. Here's MY team in two weeks:

We looked MUCH better with Foran directing the ship on the weekend. The attack went flat as soon as DCE got involved. DCE can play off the bench if any of Schuster, Foran or Cust are blowing a tire.

That's as good a bench as we can get until Sironen / Davey / Fainu / Lawton return.

I do like Harper's attitude. Not sure of his overall quality but he seems like a footy player rather than an athlete type. I guess we've persisted with Suli because of his 'potential' and the occasional power surge, and in fairness he is one of our strongest carries off our own line.

I kind of agree mate, but I do see an element of a natural footy player in him. He seems elusive, quite fast, great defensively (at fullback, he was slicing them down in the trial). To me, he has that loose indigenous talent, that if surrounded by quality, would excel (I know he's not indigenous btw haha).

Would love to see him get some consistent minutes.

Yes he’s definitely got that elusive nature to him. During his trial at fullback I saw mini glimpses of Snake with the way he played, even though his game was a little rocks and diamonds. Fullback probably isn’t his position though, but back at centre I think we would really look different.

I think it's a great option...DCE is best when he thinks run or pass, at 7 he has too many options and at times looks confused.
This would simplify his role and I reckon play him back into form and add thrust in the middle which we lack badly atm...
