DCE on Sterlo

Gosh he's become an impressive young man. He seems to have finally settled into his own skin - not easy for anyone, let alone doing it in the public spotlight.
All should watch this.
My favourite part was when he talked about the difference of being captain and how he now looks out for the other players before the game and if anyone looks a bit flat or down he'll go and have a chat.
Also the talks they had really seem to have turned them into a team. And I loved the bit where they talked about the meaning of Brookie and while it isn't the traditional meaning because of all the newcomers - it has its' own special meaning for these players.
And I really liked his appraisal of Trent and how teams play best when they buy into the coach's vision and they have all done that at Manly.
He's my new favourite after this.:*:h:

Now Hollywood Hartley's on reminds me of all the whinging whining parra supporters I was surrounded by back then....... oh yeah and....
Triumph for the 78 legends.

I would love to have seen this interview and the reaction to it 4 weeks ago, it is amazing what difference a few wins make.

I would love lottoland to be a place teams fear to go. I spend so many years up on that hill making noise and so often you could see the teams react to it, both Manly and the opposition. The times I had touch judges and players stick their fingers up at me haha.

But it needs to get back to those days, when lottoland is a fortress and the crowd is there behind the players, its an amazing thing

Too boring. Would have made a great bit of intrigue if you had led us on with some furphys about number 1's secret identity. Could have had us all going for weeks.

He is being coy. #1 is The Oracle - see him lurking around all the time still, but rarely posts these days.
