It's a pain in the arse, Saturday's game is at 3.30pm up here.

My last job i crossed the boarder at tweed upto six or seven times a day. it is shlt not being the same time zone.

I can't imagine how a business/schools work in border towns.
At least the rail guage issue was solved when NSW stopped the trains running up north 😛

Oh, I checked the NRL app and it said 4.30pm, I assumed that must have been NSW time, silly me!!

Ok great, hang on is that nsw or qld time?
10 am nsw which is 9 am qld time. Or is it 11qld 10 nsw?

Ok its 10 here but the clock on my phone does not change to std time untill im further north so im not sure what time it is.

Yeah the Brisbane roar but they're nothing to boast about.
I remember every year the 'tweed daily news' would write how maybe the tweed should have its own time zone for DLS. Calling it Tweed Time; which was basically Qld time. Being close to the border, most of our dealing with 'head offices' were the ones based in Brisbane so it was not too bad.
A few times you'd ring and no one would be in work yet.
Usually when an election is looming the local qld/nsw aspirant would pay some lip service about how to fix the problem...until after they were elected then it was always:
"Qld had a referendum back in the 1980's about this so the people have spoken." But that referendum probably defeated as "Sir Joh" has enough farmers and 'inventive' boundary creations, not to mention a farmers vote was worth more than a city vote to get the wish of having dls quashed.
Though it used to be fun reading the letters to the editors with people passionately explaining (without a hint of irony) that their curtains would fade and the cows get confused and their milk goes off. Because apparently, governments can regulate the amount of sunshine we have.
