Dylan Walker was a fairly big name as well, Prior to that would have to Matt Orford, Jamie Lyon, Ben Kennedy.
How many big names have we signed since 2010? Marty Taupau , Nate Myles (maybe) , Luke Brooks (barely a big name) , Kieran Foran returning. We mainly produce our own talent and steal talent from other clubs/codes

But this is part of my point. When manly were great we had no problem in attracting the best. Its a point in where we are as club in recent times
Well we are due a big name signing. Hopefully they surprise us
Those are the only "big names" I've been glad for us to sign since 2005
There haven’t been too many Big Signings by Manly since recovering from Northern eagles… but we are due!

so they offered him a contract with KPIs and were happy when he didn’t sign it? So why did they offer the contract in the first place then?

This is our main issue looking at players like this guy totally inconsistent and unpredictable off field…we need to move away from these sorts of players
I mean if Aloiai, Brooks, T-Rex are getting listed.
Yeah just opinions I guess. Just from the media reaction (and remembering how I felt when they were announced) … Lewis Brown, meh, Nate Myles, meh meh)

I much rather Ryan Matterson. David Fifta on his day can be damaging but he isn't consistent and not worth the money he will command.
