This is a really great story. And I'm not putting it up here to start the whole depression argument again. This is just a really good story about a rugby league player.

He has shown great courage telling his story. He is a complex character and is ridiculed for following Bennett. Fact is that Bennett is his dad in so many ways and that support has helped him. I hope he can find some solutions to tackle the depression demons cause so many people suffer from this.

His mother had her own battle with mental health and that's what led to him being raised by his grandmother.

I felt sorry for his Mrs, going thru that with him & not knowing what to do.
Good to see they're expecting a youngen.

Realising the errors of our ways is all we expect of most people as they grow up. I'm sure Boyd is at that point and can now manage his situation better than he did in the past. I can only imagine the difficulty in facing the media/fans constantly while being in such a messed up headspace. He probably still is a bit of a wanker, but at least he's working on a path forward.

Thank you @wombatgc for sharing this link, of which I'd otherwise be unaware (have no ABC reception). It gives a great insight into him and explains his strange past behaviour. Hopefully the errors of his ways are behind him now.
