How can you be unhappy that any manly player had a crack at the Melbourne team? It all started because of the cheap shot on Darcy

Agreed, lsz. There are three words that absolve Darcy (and every other Manly player) of all blame for the 2011 brawl: Adam F*#king Blair.

Darcy is a loose cannon at times but is also very valuable to the team. The week before he ran out of the line and tried to get square on someone that tackled him hard in the set before. I think it's all down to frustration and not being happy with his (or the teams) performance. If only he could cut this stuff out of his game. Manly need him to recapture his form from last season. Hopefully when he gets more game time and settles into the team his performance will improve and he won't give away silly penalties.

In my opinion long hair is fair game for the tackler. If you don't want it pulled, get a hair cut. Clubs got rid of loose fitting jerseys to make it more difficult to get a hold in the tackle.
