I can't seem to log out of the forums.

If you log out of the top, it will log you out of the forums  If you are not logged into the top, login then logout and ou will be set

Ok there was an issue with the cookies. What you will need to do is clear your cookies. If you use Firefox you can specifically select the Silvertails ones by going to Tools >> Options >> Privacy >> View Cookies

And remove all the Silvertails ones. Then log back in via the top menu.

Now logging in and out from the top menu will work flawlessly
