Dally M contentions

  • We had an issue with background services between march 10th and 15th or there about. This meant the payment services were not linking to automatic upgrades. If you paid for premium membership and are still seeing ads please let me know and the email you used against PayPal and I cam manually verify and upgrade your account.

Clubs should boycott them.

That’d throw the whole thing into total and absolute confusion.

Why on earth would they send a judge who is an ex-player of one of the teams in the match?

Well bugger me, what hope does a “ non favourite “ side have.

wow.

Yet Sims (?) is removed from judging because she didn't watch the game (kinda fair enough) yet the 'old boys' are allowed to vote in games with their old teams. If the nrl can't or wont fix up that level of 'failing the pub test' then there's not much hope with the bigger, more sinister issues at hand. Good luck V'landy, you'll need it (and integrity in spades).
 
ABC grandstand do a 3, 2, 1 at the end of each match with much higher integrity than Finchy's "points to mates" approach. I thought they were included in the Dally M count?

The game is won and lost in the forwards, not some pretty boy who had to learn how kick and pass coz he couldn't run and was too small to tackle. The judges bias is sickening!!!

Should be an online voting system after each game where any nrl club member can vote a 3, 2,1 for the players of the match. Seriously you've got old boys like Finch and Parker voting for their ex team mates then it's just a farce.
 
Tafua should have got the Dally M for knocking the snot out of Munster.
That was my highlight of the year.

Poor saps thinking Manly would get anything other than the rough end of the pineapple.

Personally I never thought Des was a hope in hell, Brad Arthur went from last to 5th, no matter how you look at it that trumps 15th to 6th. Bellamy winning didnt surprise me.

I thought Fainu was our only chance in the interchange player category. His coming from the bench 21 times was often match defining. Brandon Smith was a bench player in 22 games, fyi that.

Anyway who ended up winning the comp, I tuned out a couple of weeks ago.

BTW Thanks for the Tedesco tip in the Dally M when he was $15, pity i moved late and only got $11, but that and the $7 Nat Fyfe (massive tip at lunch time of the day o the event) in the Brownlow was a nice end to the year.
 
It’s official, the Dally M’s are an utter farce.

IMO clubs should boycott them until a proper voting system is in place.

That said I can’t deny this years winner is worthy BUT there were so many anomalies in the other categories.

A bigger question re Finch; How can someone employed/contracted by a betting agency, contribute to the outcome of a competition when those outcomes can be bet on via that same agency?
