I’ve seen that Galvin is nominated for the Provan - Summons medal, luckily it’s not just about spirit of the game because DCE would join him seeming they both screwed their clubs over mid season and that must be in the spirit of game apparently but it’s also about honesty and that’s why Galvin was nominated and not DCE because Galvin was honest about wanting to leave and DCE wasn’t!

Agree Koula should have been a nomination was the comps leading tryscoring centre with 17. Saw Casey Mclean was nominated, good young player but seriously Koula performances this year were well ahead of Casey.

They fluff the Dally Ms up with all the carry on but I reckon the RLPA Team of the year has more credibility, being selected by the players themselves.

This year and last year I write my predictions of who I think is going to win each award, sometimes I screw it up by going with who I want to win the award, I got about 70 percent right but anyway that wasn't the point of my post... what I came here to say was out of that whole awards night, the best part that had my eyes welling up and emotional was Kieran Foran winning the Ken Stephen medal, especially for the fact his stepson would of turned 22 today but felt there was a better way to end his pain, not only have I loved Foran since forever but since he has spoken up about mental health so much and for someone like me who deals with it everyday, I truly admire him and I know his voice is saving many people out there struggling. He is an amazing human!

Seeing the results of the awards tonight it looks like Uncle Nick bought the Dally M's rather than Daly Cherry Evans. Silly mistake!

Well said! You weren't the only one tearing up when Foz was awarded the Ken Stephen medal. It was the best part of the night for me too and he delivered such an emotional and wonderful acceptance speech. He thoroughly deserved the medal having been through his struggles and now speaking out and helping others overcome their mental health issues. I'm so happy for him!
