Crowd vs Roosters

With the Roosters on zero wins and Easter weekend, the crowd Saturday night i don't think will pass 10k, also Swans v Collingwood next door @ SCG approx 40-45k will make traffic a nightmare.

I know its too late now, but can the NRL change a scheduled game 3 or so weeks before ? Just for furture occurrences ?

There will be a 9,000 crowd - headlines in the paper "Sea Eagles fans don't fly for battle of the birds".

I think 11,540 will be the crowd number

Will be venturing out to watch the boys play on Saturday night but won't be driving it is bad enough parking but with 40,000 + people no thanks.

I know the AFL were playing at ANZ stadium before they switched to the SCG for their Saturday night game, but that leaves ANZ stadium empty, I bet if this game was played at ANZ this weekend you would get more people out to it , as direct public Easter show transport would be included.

Anyway looking forward to sitting with my fellow Manly tragics in bay 38 on Saturday!!

... and would the crowd be any bigger if the stadium could hold 60,000?
The " build it and they will come" philosophy might work with AFL but will be a dismal failure in the NRL.

I've been saying for a while and I stick to my guns , this is all about reducing costs for the broadcasters, they do not give a **** about fans who will be replaced in time with virtual crowds.
