I've been there, was a tough moment but we all get there. Just go back to being an assistant and realaise your limitations

Yeah, another assistant who had too much smoke blown up his ass and started to believe his own hype. Never works out well. I think head coaches who spend time in the lower grades or ESL before making the leap to NRL are more successful these days. A decade ago, Barrett probably would've cut the mustard but it doesn't seem to work in the NRL these days.

I like this Dominic Young kid. I was surprised he didn't get more games after what I thought was a pretty solid debut earlier this year but I hope he's locked down a starting spot going forward.

Ponga is a freakish player, I don't care if he plays at fullback or in the halves in Origin but he's got to be there.

Is Homles on report for a crusher or high contact? If it's a crusher, **** off. That's ridiculous. High contact? Fair enough but still a harsh call.

He's an interesting player isn't he?!

I've been busy today so I haven't watched a full game.
I used to make an effort to watch replays but ATM I'm like meh.

Where he's currently being used... i.e. 40-50min middle forward through the middle.

It's the Qld origin DCE/Cronk/KHunt/Bhunt/Ponga position.

In the current game it is very handy to have a guy like Watson that can come on and cause havoc as fatigue starts to set in... as long as they can hold their own in defence.

Prior to Vlando it wouldn't be that great as the middle just didn't fatigue as much.
