Croker creeps his kick closer to the posts and no one notices

It just goes to show how dumb everyone is these days from the refs, bunker to the players and coaches

How can anyone including our players and coach not pick up that Croker moved the ball 5 metres in from where the penalty was given? FMD were our coach and players awake?

The Raiders were handed a lifleline by a last-minute penalty that gave Jarrod Croker the chance to tie things up and send the game to extra time.

The penalty was blown about two metres in from the sideline and 28 metres out from goal as Daly Cherry-Evans and Akuila Uate held down the Canberra captain, but Croker didn't fancy his chances from the distance and took it upon himself to move the tee a bit further in.

Croker moved the mark at least five more metres closer to the posts, however, none of the officials said a word.

Funny that nothing is mentioned about Manly's 'dropped ball' when the raider just ripped it out of our player's hands, replayed clearly by the video.
Fact is 4 tries to 3. One goal off cheating metres.

Let Ricky Stuart be forever silent about other teams cheating after yesterday's performance. They tried everything they could get away with.

Constantly offside
Leg injury sent off for a HIA and free interchange
Moving the ball a good 6 or 7 metres closer to the goal for a penalty kick

After the game they were discussing what DCE would have been saying to Croker before the kick to put him off.... DCE might have been questioning the position of where Croker was kicking from?

Anyway they are grubs of the highest order and although we didn't help ourselves in the second half, they got what they deserved and DCE got the last laugh.

We were lucky we had Hastings at DH for that last play... that pass was a precision bullet that gave DCE that much time to line up the kick

Hastings could've faked the biggest pass and popped the field goal himself.

So far, not only have most main stream media outlets ignore the blatant cheating by the raiders captain, most report the kick as "a great SIDELINE conversion."

Uate was clapping at the sideline trying to incite the crowd to make even more noise as croker lined up the kick.

Listening to the radio they made mention of the penalty being '2 in from the sideline' but after the setting and DCE banter, mentioned Croker moving in to kick it '8 in from the sideline'.

Relying on my mental picture of the kick from that call, I thought I'd misheard the initial call but now it makes sense!

I agree, however, ricky's girls should have been penalised about 20 times during the game as they were rolling all around in the ruck all game. I thought the refs generally put the whistle away in close games that close to full time. Why suddenly blow a penalty right at the end of the game for something that they were happy to ignore all game?

Just watched a replay on Fox, he did indeed move it in, and some distance as well......THERE SHOULD BE AN INVESTIGATION!!

And that disallowed try, yeah maybe the rules say what they do but any player impeded by that play was no where near the try scorer (sorry no try scorer), game should have been over right there!!

Well they blatantly cheated to level the scores, got all the second half penalties, took a dive from the breeze of Kapow and they still couldn't get the job done! I hope Ricky screamed at them like a little girl after the game.
