Crichton

Kysaiah Pickett facing 3 weeks because Darcy Moore got KO'd.They say if no injured there would be no suspension.

Thoughts?

PVL needs to sack Anusley now and completely overhaul the bunker. There is definitely corruption going on and it's time for an investigation. Every week a game is officiated differently from another. Aren't the rules the same? The fans have had enough and "certain" clubs are suffering from incompetent and diabolical refereeing. Their season's are over because of this. It is astounding if the NRL think no one is noticing what's going on. Time for the media to double down and expose these cheats. I can guarantee that if last night involved roosters, panthers or storm players being sin binned like the Manly boys compared with today's non sin binning, not only would it be front page news, but someone's job may have been in jeopardy. Over to you PVL. Rant over.

Not sure it’s a PVL decision. Doesn’t Sportsbet run the game? Are they unhappy or happy with the current arrangements…?

Who knows MM? I'm just over trying to watch a game where certain players, teams get away with murder every week. These referees are getting worse every game and it's getting to the point now where I hope there's a howler in the GF and it becomes the storyline. Maybe then something will change.

I agree except I think p.v. lameday is up to his neck in it.

Someone from greyhound racing dodgy? Who whoulda thunk it?

Head job and a warning?

That's what Trent Barrett seems to get.

Regardless of the 'mitigating' circumstances line the bunker used....it was a straight up shoulder charge.

If we keep swallowing lines like that from the bunker, or annusley saying 'you can have a concussion when there's no symptoms' - like when they forced a ....guess what team player....Garrick from manly off the other day then this farce of a game will just get worse and worse.

I've never wanted a super league style breakaway more than I do now.

He will say it was the right decision. I can hear it now

"You see the colours on his jersey - the blue and white"

Dont expect any favours next week week from the refs peeps, the NRL want the Belmore Ballbags if the final series, with no Eels and Rabbits it has to be.
I don’t know why, but sometimes when I hear Annesley speak at those debriefings, I am reminded of Peter Sellers’ character in Being There:

President "Bobby": Mr. Gardner, do you agree with Ben, or do you think that we can stimulate growth through temporary incentives?
[Long pause]
Chance the Gardener (Annesley): As long as the roots are not severed, all is well. And all will be well in the garden.
President "Bobby": In the garden.
Chance the Gardener: Yes. In the garden, growth has it seasons. First comes spring and summer, but then we have fall and winter. And then we get spring and summer again.
President "Bobby": Spring and summer.
Chance the Gardener: Yes.
President "Bobby": Then fall and winter.
Chance the Gardener: Yes.
Benjamin Rand: I think what our insightful young friend is saying is that we welcome the inevitable seasons of nature, but we're upset by the seasons of our economy.
Chance the Gardener: Yes! There will be growth in the spring!
Benjamin Rand: Hmm!
Chance the Gardener: Hmm!
President "Bobby": Hm. Well, Mr. Gardner, I must admit that is one of the most refreshing and optimistic statements I've heard in a very, very long time.
[Benjamin Rand applauds]
President "Bobby": I admire your good, solid sense. That's precisely what we lack on Capitol Hill.

I just watched the Crichton shoulder to the head.
Seriously, if u compare that to the 3 sin bins for Manly, one would think the bunker is incompetent or corrupt. 🤔

If Waddell gets 2 weeks for his love tap to the head, how many weeks should Crichton get?
Well said. I couldnt believe Waddell got 2 weeks for as you say the love tap, that wouldnt busted a pimple, bloody joke

Bunker official Liam Kennedy is likely to be stood down over the decision not to send Stephen Crichton to the sin bin in Canterbury’s win over the Warriors on Friday night.

Oh nooooo what a massive, massive punishment for this official.
One week off with pay.
Oh no, the humanity, the huge manatee!

I hope the nrl and all associated organisations provide him with all the free counselling he'll obviously need in this difficult time.

If you wanna talk about 'mitigating circumstances' - I'd suggest that Jake's tackle on some nuffie, where he went 1 degree past the horizontal, was only about 2 feet off the ground, and landed softly with no injury, had more mitigating circumstances for a 'no penalty' call rather than the CHEATING REFEEREE GOUGH awarding a penalty for a tackle that the whole of the rugby league world simply and correctly considers that to be a text book great tackle.
