I can’t believe I listened and am now quoting this C, but Smith said on radio this morning that he had the Cows as his team to win the comp. And after the defensive efforts of the underlings, he reckons Payton will expect nothing less from his rep players coming back into the squad.

I’m not confident of a win here unfortunately. A lot of player movement in the backline, which I don’t agree with. But based on my stellar footy tipping performance so far, the Manly boys will romp home.

Footy tipping 💩💩💩💩💩

Been impossible the last 6 weeks

Sipley and Aloha both on 1 leg up front LOL. We'll get creamed here. Cows by 22.
Aloiai should be primed to go after that break and has at least had a lot more consistency this season . Really needs to go well of course with Tent still out .
Sips hopefully has got some better game fitness back after the bye . He has generally been going alright as well in most of his appearances and when relatively injury free .
Then Bully , Brown and Lawton to add a bit of spark and drive at the ideally right time., Back row should be still a Manly strength
Backline certainly capable of doing some good things and if Turbo can be up to scratch from pretty much the get go . Good cover with Lehi if things are not working out so well .
Just have to have the determination , particularly in defence which apart from the Dragons match , has been a bit erratic of late and try and get some of those better attacking plays the side is capable of to the fore.
Again , don"t expect the Cows to make it easy but if the team can play to or show their best ability and hang in there , should be more then up for the Challenge

If we can't win this game then we don't deserve to play finals footy this year. Redemption for the soft losses needs to start now.
Haven " t taken note of the latest winning match[ general ] requirement qualifying stats but seems to be getting that way and in relation to this game

Would be great if we jagged a win up there in North Qld...but if this doesn't work out, how about we start our winning run against the Noughts at Brookie the following weekend instead.
Just sayin'...

Winning 5/9 games will have us very close to 8th depending on other results. 6/9 needed to guarantee finals. Every game we win against teams currently on 18/20 points makes it more likely 5/9 will be enough. This game has a huge bearing on our finals hopes.

01. Lehi Hopoate
02. Jason Saab
03. Tom Trbojevic
04. Tolutau Koula
05. Reuben Garrick
06. Luke Brooks
07. Daly Cherry-Evans (C)

08. Toafofoa Sipley
09. Jake Simpkin
10. Josh Aloiai
11. Haumole Olakau'atu
12. Ben Trbojevic
13. Jake Trbojevic

14. Tommy Talau
15. Karl Lawton
16. Ethan Bullemor
17. Nathan Brown

I don't see how Lehi Hopoate offers us anything from the bench, as he is a specialist fullback only. I would have Talau on the bench for his versatility, as he can cover fullback/centre/winger/five-eight. I would also like to see Talau playing a similar role to D Walker and come on after 20 minutes to give us a real point of difference in the middle. Seibold could rotate Aloiai and Sipley simultaneously, with Jake going to prop, Bullemor to prop and Talau to lock. Nathan Brown to come on after 30 minutes to replace Jake, who gets spelled for 10-15 minutes either side of half-time. Lawton replaces Simpkin after 50 minutes, Talau is swapped out for Jake at the fifteen-minute mark of the second half, followed by Sipley and Aloiai returning for the last 20 minutes, replacing Brown and Bullemore
