Ended up watching the game , I’m in the wine region ( Barossa ) in SA , and it’s bloody freezing so inside the caravan with the heater going and nothing better to do.

Dropping Simpkin to the bench definitely taught him the lesson. Was given a good opportunity today nonetheless. He will be starting again next week.

Great performance. Our edge defence is so much better this year. This will keep us in games even when our key guys play poorly, like they are. Two absolutely rubbish games from DCE and Turbo would've been 50 put on us a couple of years ago. Instead the rest of the team is dragging them along.

Important win today on a few fronts. Burbo best on ground I thought. Followed by Simpkin, Jazz, Brooks, Saab.

Turbo just trying too hard to impress for origin. He needs to forget NSW and focus on consistent good footy for us. He does that nsw will take care of itself. He absolutely should not be picked on that display.

We were gritty, but another pretty rubbish performance. Our standards really need to lift. Might be one of the worst displays from a team all year watching the Cows. God they were bad. Poor decision putting Purdue to the halves.

And so the season that is 2025 continues, it seems that just about any side can beat any side , except maybe the Knights who are absolute ****.

It’s a footy tipping nightmare of epic proportions.

Saab breaking tackles and leaping like a flea, Burbo playing like a Burgess brother and we’re winning away games like it's a Contiki tour. 6th place really is the spiritual home of Manly. Not quite contending, not quite collapsing. Just eternally vibing in rugby league purgatory.

Next stop: winning at Brookie during a full moon while riding unicorns.
