Massive win for our season. MASSIVE. Still not impressed with some of our top guys, not confident we’ve drastically improved yet. Burbo had his best game maybe ever, hope we get more of that. Saab got himself really involved which was nice to see, he can kill it when he’s on. Brooks was better too.

Happiest with keeping them to 6 though, some of our efforts in defence have been super poor since the DCE announcement, so 6 is an awesome effort.

The Cowboys were not good though, at all. We play a better side and I still don’t think we win, plenty to improve on but boy did we need that.

Parra next week with an origin side, really excited to see how our side looks and how that one goes. Perhaps Joey Walsh may start? Played Oz Tag in his team and went to school with him when I was about 8 years old, weird to see someone you know in this position.

Anyway, we’re 5-5 just like last year, let’s get some big wins throughout the Origin period while we can and get ourselves sorted in the run to finals 🦅🦅🦅

Agree with others, Jazz needs to be in starting team as 13, Simpkin needs to start, would like to see more of Navale. But great effort, not pretty, but pretty effective. And go Saab!

Ended up watching the game , I’m in the wine region ( Barossa ) in SA , and it’s bloody freezing so inside the caravan with the heater going and nothing better to do.

Sadly, it took another concussion to Jake to prove it, but we are a much better side with Jazz at lock and Simpkin at hooker. In fact, even forgetting about Simpkin at hooker, Jazz should be our starting lock.

Along with those two, big shout-outs to TKO, who has been our best prop all year, Burbo (second week in a row he's been not just the best Trbojevic on the field, but close to our best player), and Lehi, who gets through a mountain of work and is now an indispensable member of the team.

Yep the fact we brought him to Townsville with the top side while Arthur and Wakeham played cup in the halves at Brookie today says a lot. Especially when Walsh was in the halves for cup last week and I honestly didn’t mind what I saw from him in the highlights at least in attack
