Could this be true ( I hope so )

Bellamy is the key.Once he goes,I’d be worried about the Storm If I was the NRL.Whilst financially they’re fine at the moment, once they start falling down the ladder,I wonder how many of their fans will hang around

Bellamy is not only the key he is also the cement that cemented the Storms winning culture

The Storm are in a good place

Nah. Saying the right things to the media. But saying good bye with out hanging on a year too long. Prob loosing 1 too many. But watch em blood youth in the next 12 months. Can't see them falling back whilst Belly Ache is there

Got a feeling Munster's on the nose at Melb, after his infamous podcast. Probably feeling out the Dolphins and Cowboys for 23.
I have a feeling Munster's on the nose at Melb too. (It wasn't a podcast but a video of him, Cheese and Chris Lewis partying with a white substance.) He was put into rehab clinic late last year for alcohol and gambling issues, was removed from the Storm's leadership group, given a suspended fine and is on a booze ban for 2022.

He must be skating on thin ice with the Storm now. If the Dolphins make him an attractive offer for 2023, together with his family being in Qld, I'd think he'll be very tempted to leave Melb.

It depends on how successful his pledge to go sober for 12 months is… if can keep himself off the drink and punt (he has acknowledged a problem with gambling), he is capable of carrying the team into the top 4 himself.

Don’t get me wrong, I am no Munster fan, but I respect people who face their inner demons and try to overcome them.

The Storm will be almost the same as last year and will once again be up in the top 4. 2023 begs another question as to how they’ll go.

Yeah I reckon they'll be right amongst it again this year as usual much as I hate to admit it. Unless Papenhuizen doesn't recover from his head knocks and he did look very shaky at the end of last year. Reckon next year they'll miss Brandon Smith but this year nah they'll be right amongst it again. Sadly.

Still strong in key positions, great mentality and know how to play semi final football and not shoot themselves in the foot ( See our semi final against them in 2021 of how far ahead they are in that area ).

I must admit the normally 100% professional, tight ship image that the Storm have managed to portray was undermined somewhat by the Brandon Smith & Cameron Munster coke video & also the very public airing of Smith looking around at other clubs & signing with the Roosters.

Smith's interview where he said there was a drinking culture at the club didnt help either.

Whether that all translates into immediate onfield failure, I dont know.

I guess we'll see in a few weeks' time!
