Could Manly miss the 8?

True both have what many to consider softer draws but Dragons have shown they can go on a run of losses just as much as a run of wins. Titans are no pushovers and I wouldn't be surprised to see them drop points against any of Souths, Bulldogs or even the knights...........that said they could just as easily win them all

Being a pessimist here but it's a reality. Rorters will dust us. Drag queens play bunnies and will win. Panthers will play tigpies and win. Panthers now have a better F/A. From 3rd to 9th in 3 weeks.

If Manly were to miss the 8 after being in 4th spot with 7 games to go, then it would end up being one of our worst finishes to a season of all time.

All we need to do is win at least 2 of our final 5 games now to be guaranteed a spot in the 8. The current ladder positions of our opponents for the final 4 games of the season are - 15th, 14th, 11th and 9th.

Our most likely position after 26 rounds would be 6th. Anything above that is an over achievement now.

If we miss the 8 from here, at least 3 or 4 underperforming members of our current 17 should be terminated and possibly even the coach/assistant coach and associates!

Our run home has us playing teams in positions (at the start of this round) 2nd, 15th, 14th, 11th and 9th.

The 2 teams below us play each other hence 1 team can only win 4/5 max so they would have to win every other game to even come close and that is if we only win just 2 of those games, 4 are in the bottom half of the 8 after all.

We will make the 8 but after that, if we're not performing like we were before our last few defeats, we'll be there to make up the numbers.

BTW If we don't get deducted points we will still finish ahead of the dogs🙂
