IMO we are undergoing what is said in the corporate world as a restructure. We had 10 great years and cannot afford to sit on our laurels. Young stars like Gutho and co. Are ambitious and will not sit in the background for the next 3 years. They will want to ply their trade. We need to rebuild ,and like it is in the corporate world ,need to let go of the so called furniture and redecorate. By doing this, we ensure that we bring new thoughts, invigoration and inspiration as well as attitude to the team.
We need to look at who we wish to lead our business and see if those who are still around can follow the business blueprint or destabilise it. If it is the latter, then they must go. Most effective and flourishing businesses turn staff over every 5 years ,whilst holding onto key staff members to continue the business footprint.
Manly is a business and if some of the rumours are true then it's best we relieve them of their turmoil and move them on. Onwards and upwards. Manly the club will survive long after unhappy individuals have gone.
