Sorry I didn't realise it might be hard to guess. I meant Schu - he was Manly's budding superstar who we just paid a fortune to re-sign and was supposed to become a gun second rower (or 5/8 even)(lol).
When that turned to dust we were left not only without a top second rower but also without ability to buy one, due to the sudden sizeable hole in our cap.

And still hurting from it , think 26 will be clear

Yep I think given the constraints (existing stars on big deals plus the Schu payout) Manly has recruited fairly cleverly.

Spot on , I think what they’ve done this year is pretty smart.

Sure , we’d love some superstars , sone absolute match winners BUT, we aren’t the Roosters.

Was SST injured? He was very good but came off after 22 minutes and didn't return.

The best part about these signings is that we have healthy competition for spots in the top 17.

Wasn’t he exactly that type of player as a highly touted junior for Penrith?

As far as I can remember, Waddell was considered Penrith’s J’maine Hopgood before J’maine Hopgood

Maybe lock would suit Waddell or Chee-Kam now that they’re back in Manly colours and older, wiser heads in the squad
