[Resurrected] Club statement on Bradman Best

Similar to last week with Tagatese the club has put out the below statement.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles wish to advise the Club has not spoken to the manager of young Newcastle Knights full-back Bradman Best.

A media report today states that Manly and the Knights are involved in a ‘bitter battle over the player being labelled as the best junior to emerge from Newcastle since Andrew Johns’.

The Sea Eagles have not had any negotiations in signing the 15 year-old from the Knights.

This is a great direction the club has started to take. With all the blatant lies that are inferred through the free press, this move of denying what's being written regarding signing rumours will only highlight how much bullsh1t is being reported. Smart move.

I feel like they're either on a mole hunt or trying to discredit particular journalists. It's just bizarre to deny rumours like this. The more they do it the more they'll be expected to do it, and that could weaken our bargaining positions in future negotiations.
