2024 Manly home & away jerseys on sale on the club website. Meaning maybe new designs or a new sponsor for 2025 incoming?
URM is becoming the main jersey sponsor again.

Honestly prefer URM over the PointsBet, can't stand gambling advertising, even if it's in theme with the jersey.

SEA EAGLES RECRUIT NEW HEAD OF FOOTBALL

The Sea Eagles are preparing to revamp their football department with Peter Gentle its new head of football. Gentle has been appointed the top job in the football department having more recently been the club’s head of recruitment.

Gentle has a long history in rugby league. First as a player at St George before transitioning into a coach where he spent time as head coach at Hull FC and interim mentor at the Broncos in 2020. He has also had assistant jobs at Cronulla, Parramatta, South Sydney and the Dragons before he made the move to the Sea Eagles.

Let's hope he now has more space in his phone for numbers besides Wests Tigers & Wests Tigers player managers.

The West Tigers do have a wealth of young talent coming through, the club did well in signing Large on a three year deal, I personally wouldn’t mind it if they signed the below junior talent.

Siotame Havea Jr, plays lock and he would be a good signing for the SG Ball squad.

Archie Duncombe, second rower who gives it a good go.

Phoenix Godinet, gun second rower who would be the pick of them.

I do get your point though there is plenty of other talent out there and we have had the blinkers on in the recruitment signings of late.

Any relation to Pita Godinet, who had a year with us (not sure if he played NRL though) with us at one point?
Not sure if there is any relation there, but he is a Kiwi.

Goes to bass high school with Simone Laififi, Made NSWCHS 18s this season, he is a good talent.

There are some wraps on him already, he was unsigned for next season a few weeks back, don’t know if he is still available.

EA EAGLES SWOOP ON DOG
Manly has handed former Canterbury Bulldogs forward Chris Patolo a lifeline as the club looks to add depth outside its top 30 squad.
The Sea Eagles will give Patolo a train-and-trial contract and an opportunity to prove that he can extend his NRL career beyond the 27 top grade games he has played.
Manly has used train-and-trial and minimum wage deals with success in recent years, with former NSW Origin forward Nathan Brown arriving at the club last off-season in a similar situation before being upgraded.
The Sea Eagles see the upside in recruiting Patolo.
They have signed experienced utility Michael Chee Kam to their supplementary list and want to do the same with ex-Warriors half Ronald Volkman, but need to create cap space to do so.

Well at least he's not from Wests.

We need cap space to sign volkman?

If that’s true, someone **** the bed again.

We should have schuster’s money and a second rower in the cross hairs
Not sure what the fascination/worry that some have with needing another 2nd rower,in some cases some calling for a “gun” second rower.Penrith won the comp with 1 and the Storm finished minor premiers with arguably none.Manly may need depth, but spending “big” $$ on a second rower is unnecessary.Manly’s problems are not due to the absence of someone dynamic on the left edge
