For those interested. 830 fox sports 2 Manly v Parra round 10 2003
Did we win?
Golden point. Duno who won though. Google it i cbf
We won 36-34. 2003 was our worst year since 1964, we only won 7 matches out of 24 (29%). Even in our darkest days we still managed to avoid the spoon.
First ever golden point game. We were no hope with 10 mins to go but some how drew level. The hill was going off deluxe when the game ended.
Getting ready now to watch it. Making myself comfortable. A must watch game for any Eagle supporter. A great game with a happy ending.
I missed the end to this game, took my nephew and he stuffed himself at the game - he threw up on some poor sod in front with 30 to go, took him home and could only listen to the cheers resonating up to Freshwater (nee Harbord) with dispair
Looking forward to watching this game.
Definitely watching this guy again. Remember it well. Ben Walker finally did something.
i remember mailing the back page of the tele(day after game) to a mate who is a die hard parra fan without any info to say who sent it, about a month later his mother(who i worked with) asked me if i knew anything about it. apparently he went ballistic when they lost & even worse when he opened up the letter!
Killer playing for the Eels..... Hoppa Snr on the wing, very young Choc and King, the Beaver! Wow.... Recording this!
Is there something wrong with my TV or is the picture not right
Yeah size is a bit out. Tony Jensen. I had hopes for Tony, but after he busted his knee he never recovered. I'll remember for a long time him chasing down Wendell at Bluetongue. Maybe it's just a sign of how ordinary we were back then that I rated Tony.
It's not in widescreen, it's from the days of the old 4:3 mode.
Haha this defence is hilarious. If you ever feel down about a Manly performance this season, you should watch this game again.
It is hard on the parra fans. They barely win matches in the last 2 years and fox still show old games of them losing
damn i wish i didnt get rid of foxtel.. i like watching the dark ages.. then think about the present
I reckon this is the game that Killer decided he wanted to play for the Mighty Sea Eagles!
We were lucky Souths were still finding their feet.
